We did not want our land to be sold and probably cut up into smaller parcels and/or developed in any way. We began our search for an acceptable solution, but most of the organizations we had heard of were not going to provide the protection features we desired...

When I see how swiftly land is being lost to housing developments and shopping malls, I feel it is my obligation and privilege to try to preserve this property as it is now. So many forests are being damaged and destroyed, leaving little or no escape for wildlife. They lived here before we did and deserve the courtesy of being protected.
